I was never a fan of Ashlee Simpson, but I must say, these brooches she is wearing in this photo are quite cool. I’m totally diggin’ her retro vibe. And, she looks much better as a red head than that whole Joan Jett wanna be goth thing she had going a few years ago.

I’m loving Target these days, I really am. I loved their last Go International collection by Jovovich-Hawk (which is now on clearance by the way) and now they have a great new handbag collection by Gryson and a new jewelry line by Subversive. This little bee bracelet is cute and has a great retro feel and I’m loving the simplicity of this Gryson handbag.

Prairie dresses were really popular in the 1970s. They are lovely, feminine, and free flowing–perfect for the summer time! Young Edwardian and Gunne Sax were two popular brands that produced prairie dresses. I have a few prairie dresses on auction at ebay. Check them out!
